Avenida Art & Framing offers printing of digital photographs on canvas.
We use advanced large-format printing equipment that guarantees exceptional resolution and color. Using only the best available 100% cotton archival canvas and an application of a protective matte satin coating with UV inhibitors, we know you’ll love the results.
Do you have a personal photograph that you’ve always loved and want to see it on canvas? Your favorite digital photos can now be transformed into stunning professional quality canvas prints.
WHERE DO I START?
Bring in your photograph in a JPEG digital format to either of our two locations or email your image directly to us.
WHAT SIZES DO YOU OFFER?
Our printers can print any size up to 42″ wide. Please keep in mind that the resolution of your image will affect the size limitations.
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR STRETCHING?
We offer two stretcher bar sizes: ¾” and 1 ½”. We can gallery wrap your piece so the image follows all the way around the sides of the stretcher bar.
On the ¾” bars we staple on the sides of the bars. We offer black or white taping over these staples for an additional cost. Many customers feel this adds a more “finished look” to the pieces if they are not planning on framing them afterwards.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Please inquire via email or at either of our locations for pricing. All prices will include printing, stretching, and hanging hardware. We require a 50% deposit.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Generally all pieces are completed between 1-2 weeks. All printing stays within the city and is printed at our south east location.
HOW IS IT DONE?
Imagine a giant inkjet printer. Basically, it is the same process, except we print directly onto a piece of canvas using top quality inks. After the printing is completed we add the matte satin finish and it is placed in a dry, cool place to set. Once the finish is completely dry it can be stretched and picked up!
If you have any comments or questions regarding the digital printing of your photographs, please do not hesitate to ask us. We offer a variety of samples of this process at both our galleries.
